Filipe Santos is Alma Development’s new CBDO

ALMA Development, a real estate developer specializing in residential projects in the Lisbon and Porto metropolitan areas, announces the hiring of Filipe Santos as Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), taking over the company’s Commercial and Marketing areas.

With a solid base and strong links to Panhard International, ALMA Development has established itself with its own identity, supported by a group with vast experience in developing large-scale projects in the residential, office and logistics sectors in France and Luxembourg. This structure enhances the company’s ability to design, monitor and promote real estate projects, and with this appointment it is now reinforcing its strategy of growth and consolidation in the domestic market.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the real estate sector, Filipe Santos specializes in the residential and corporate markets. With a degree in Public Relations and Communication, and a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Management from Porto Business School, he held prominent positions as Commercial and Marketing Director at Grupo Empril, was responsible for opening Savills in the city of Porto, where he successfully led several operations, and more recently, acted as CBDO at Castro Group. Throughout his career, he has participated directly in operations totaling more than 100 million euros of direct investment, especially in Greater Porto and the north of the country.

Filipe Santos’ entry comes at a strategic time, with the active marketing of two landmark developments:

  • ESSENCE – Antas, Porto: A premium residential project that combines contemporary architecture with urban centrality.
  • CAXIAS HEIGHTS – Oeiras: A development with a privileged view over the Tagus, focused on sophistication and sustainability.

Later this year, ALMA Development is preparing to launch Jardim dos Moinhos, the largest development in Canidelo, Vila Nova de Gaia, with 50,000 m² of gross construction area, representing the developer’s major bet for the coming years.
